Lawrence Blanchard, ND, MDiv
My name is Lawrence Blanchard, and I am the author of the books on this website. The books in the Covenant Heritage Series represent the culmination of 36 years of study and research in the Bible and other related fields.
My purpose in writing them is to help God’s Covenant people grasp a more accurate understanding of the true nature and purpose of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as revealed in the Bible, history and science.
I don’t claim perfection or error-free analysis and am quite willing to consider constructive criticism (not name calling) where it can be proven I am wrong. I’ve taken great care to write these books doing due diligence to be true, correct and certain as to what the Bible says and what it means by what it says.
That being said, I thought it might be helpful for you to get to know me as a person, my background and insight for why I wrote these books.
Our Mission
Our mission is to glorify the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, helping His anointed Covenant People to understand who they are and what His ordained purpose is for them. They are the Northwestern Europe People - the physical descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to whom all the biblical covenants belong.
Our desire is to help restore lost knowledge and understanding as revealed in the Bible by offering systematic teaching in a historical approach that brings both Old and New Covenant Scriptures together as a cohesive, unified and consistent whole.
The Bible is the most misunderstood and confusing Book in the world – until now! The Covenant Heritage Series offers step-by-step systematic training that transforms ordinary people into Bible masters. The Bible Mastery Boot Camp is the interactive video teaching and training series that follows the first four books of the Covenant Heritage Series.
Finally, the goal of our mission is to do our part to help God’s Covenant People found local churches with a vision to manifest (realize) the Kingdom of God in their communities as it is in heaven.
What We Believe
The Scriptures:
We believe that the entire Bible, all 66 books of the combined Old and New Covenant Scriptures, is God-breathed and without error in the original writings. Through the providence of God, the Word of God has been protected and preserved and is the only unfailing and authoritative rule of faith and practice and explains His plan and purpose for His covenant people to manifest His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12).
We also believe that the Bible is the most misunderstood Book in the world – until now! Through step-by-step systematic training, ordinary people can be transformed into Bible masters – Guaranteed!
God:
We believe that there is only one true, living, sovereign, holy, and eternally existent God. He exists in a tri-unity – God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit – all of one essence and all possessing the same nature, perfection, and attributes (Deuteronomy 6:4; Luke 3:21-22; I Corinthians 12:4-6; II Corinthians 13:14).
Jesus Christ:
We believe that Jesus Christ is God of very God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed many miracles, shed His blood on the cross for the transgressions committed under the first or Old Covenant, was buried, bodily resurrected, ascended to the right hand of the Father and sits on the throne of David forever, and is Head of the church (John 1:1-3,14; Matthew 1:18-25; Luke 1:30-35; John 20:30-31; Romans 1:3-4; Philippians 2:5-9; Colossians 1:15-19; Acts 1:11; Ephesians 1:20-22, 5:23; Acts 2:29-36; Hebrews 9:15).
Holy Spirit:
We believe that the Holy Spirit is God, co-equal and co-existent with the Father and the Son. His function is to convict of sin, righteousness and judgment and to regenerate and sanctify His covenant People who receive Jesus in repentant faith. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer and empowers every believer to live a godly life and fulfill their purpose in manifesting God’s Kingdom in and through every true local church (John 14:16-17; 16:7-15; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20; 12:4-11; Romans 8:9,11; Titus 3:5-6; Ephesians 2:19-22; 3:8-11).
Adamkind:
We believe that in the beginning God created Adamkind in His image in order to take dominion over God’s creation according to God’s righteousness and justice. Mankind was originally created with the ability to live perfectly for God’s glory (Genesis 1:27,31).
Sin:
We believe that Adam, the first man, sinned by disobedience. Sin is defined as the transgression of the Law. This act resulted in spiritual death and separation from God and His intended purpose for Adam and his offspring (Genesis 3:1-24; I John 3:4; Romans 3:10-23; 5:12-21; 6:23; I Corinthians 15:21-22).
Redemption and Salvation:
We believe that God through Jesus Christ offered redemption and salvation for Adamkind. This is a free gift of God’s grace apart from works of the Law, based solely upon Jesus’ death and resurrection effected by the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit and received only through faith in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9; I Corinthians 15:21-22; Colossians 1:13-14; Hebrews 9:14-15,28).
The Church:
The local church is comprised of regenerated believers in the Lord Jesus Christ under His blood of the New Covenant. Each church is a holy temple in the Lord Jesus and serves the eternal purpose of God through the administration of His Kingdom – His rule and reign. The purpose of the church is to worship the Living God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, live in obedience and loving fellowship with Him and with each other. It is the foundation and pillar of truth holding government and society accountable to God’s standard of righteousness. God’s authority resides in His church and therefore the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church, the body of Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18; I Timothy 3:15; Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:10,20-22; 4:10-16; 5:23-27; Colossians 1:18).
